Digital Construction Coordinator - UAE

This role is based on-site in the UAE and will require relocation. ALEC will be holding interviews in the following cities.

As a Digital Construction Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing information using BIM (Building Information Modelling) across a construction project. The role ensures stakeholders meet digital deliverables and information requirements, with a primary focus on BIM, though it may also involve broader digital techniques like scanning and drones.

Your Role:

  • Communicate and manage internal/external information requirements
  • Help develop and maintain BIM execution plans, responsibility matrices, and other key documents
  • Configure and support common data environments (CDE) and EDMS
  • Oversee 3D model coordination, clash detection, and issue reporting
  • Provide training and support on BIM tools and processes
  • Conduct QA/QC checks on models
  • Assist with resource estimation, tendering, and reporting
  • Support digital initiatives and improvements with the Head of Digital Construction

What We're looking For

  • Solid understanding of ISO 19650 and previous standards (e.g., PAS 1192)
  • Proficiency in BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Revizto)
  • Familiarity with openBIM standards (IFC, COBie)
  • Experience with CDE platforms (e.g., Aconex, BIM 360)
  • Skills in automation tools (Solibri, Dynamo, Python)
  • Experience with 4D/5D modeling and Power BI for data reporting
  • Strong communication and collaboration
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Confident, resilient, and proactive
  • Passion for digital transformation in construction
