About the opportunity:

Ruby on Rails or any other ODD language or framework

Computer science degree

Senior - 5y as a minimum.

A solid candidate could be 2 or 3y with experience with Ruby on Rails in operational tasks

PostgreSQL

Kafka

Event Sourcing,

QA experience - quality assurance by the developers.

Fullstack (70% back + 30% front)

US - Atlantic time zone - PST or EST. But a manageable start right away

Interview process: AM screening / Panel - full interview - 3 parts (culture, coding exercise, software design exercise) / AM Final interview.

Communication, verbal and written - excellent. (English)

Responsibilities:

Skills/Experience:

- 3-5+ years of software engineering experience

- Strong communication skills

- Understanding of reusable components/building component libraries - Understanding of building production-ready web applications and systems

- Passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement

- Experience with any of Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, JavaScript, NextJS , or another programming language - Familiarity with common programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools - Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent experience

- Familiarity with event-based architectures, database fundamentals and GraphQL

- Enthusiasm for solving problems for our users with technology

- Curiosity about retail/e-commerce, the high-end consignment market, and/or how to create a sustainable, circular economy for luxury goods
