Hiring: Proofreader (Portuguese → English, Technical Background)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Proofreader with a strong technical background to review and polish documents translated from Portuguese to English.
What You'll Do
Proofread translated documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and fluency in English
Verify technical terminology is correct and consistent
Provide edits and suggestions to improve readability while maintaining original intent
Collaborate with translators and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables
What We're Looking For
Native or near-native proficiency in English
Excellent command of Portuguese
Strong attention to detail and editing skills
Technical background or knowledge (IT, Engineering, or related fields preferred)
Previous proofreading/translation experience is a plus
