Job Summary Culinary Training Specialist The Culinary Training Specialist is a key role in our culinary team, responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive training strategies to enhance the skills of our culinary crew members. This position plays a critical part in ensuring that our crew has the necessary knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional service standards. Main Responsibilities: Culinary Training Development: Develop and execute tailored training programs to address the specific needs of our culinary crew members, including cooking techniques, food safety, and customer service. Collaboration with Senior Leadership: Work closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives to address these gaps. Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on training sessions and provide constructive feedback to crew members, focusing on practical application and real-world scenarios. Performance Audits: Conduct regular performance audits to assess crew members' understanding and application of new skills, identifying areas for further development and improvement. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior crew members, helping them to develop their skills and advance within the organization. Key Qualifications: Proven experience in culinary training and development, preferably in a hospitality or cruise ship environment. Strong background in teaching, coaching, and mentoring, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
