Job Title: Data Engineer This is a dynamic role involving close collaboration with the Analytics team and Data Engineers to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines. Key responsibilities include: Rationalize all data requests and design ideal solutions. Execute new data flows and maintain existing ones on a daily basis. Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines that meet various use-cases with minimal incremental effort. Drive the vision for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing across the company, defining and executing plans to achieve this vision. Evaluate analytical data ecosystems to enable excellent data capabilities, including big data analysis. At least 2 years of experience in analytics and data engineering. 1+ year of experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or other big data processing systems. Expertise in SQL. Proven ability to lead time-sensitive strategic projects involving methodology development, analysis, recommendations, and presentation of findings. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (engineering, computer science, mathematics, etc.). Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc. Unix shell scripting and Python skills. Database performance tuning expertise.
