A Brief Summary of This Position:

We are searching for a highly motivated and talented individual for our open Programmer Analyst position supporting critical business applications for our Enterprise business applications. This Individual Contributor position will be responsible to develop, implement, and maintain technical systems and programs that enable our business to perform at the highest level. The Programmer Analyst will work closely with business analysts, senior programmer analysts, and business users to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate has an experience software development and programming. He or she will have a deep passion for implementing creative and efficient solutions using the latest technologies. The ideal candidate has the drive to face down a difficult problem and find the best solution leveraging their strong research and collaboration skills.

Essential Functions:

This position will require the candidate willing to learn and become a full stack developer on new technologies and implement. This position will be responsible for delivering complete technology solutions as part of team work which may include database, business/logic layer code, and front end UI.

• Agile, Waterfall or other similar Application lifecycle methodology to develop the solutions
• systems analysis and design, document, develop, implement, and maintain complex application development work with little or no supervision
• systems and applications created under his/her responsibility adhere to departmental standards, appropriate controls and audit trails exist, and that new systems and programs are thoroughly tested prior to installation in production environment
• technical architecture and code for applications including database, scripting and user interface design
• technical and functional architecture for Interfaces including field mapping and data transformation
• with Business Analysts and other Senior Programmers in a team
• identified issues as they surface
• with project team to resolve identified issues
• on-going application technical support and participate in application training
• documentation, technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for each development Project
• monitor industry trends, standards and technologies. Research, recommend and apply new technologies as they emerge
• feasibility analysis considering technical, infrastructural, organizational and economic aspects to alternative solutions
• and apply project activities including task identification, effort and duration estimates, task dependencies and sequencing, critical path analysis, resource assignment and evaluation, conflict and problem resolution
• abreast of and apply best practices in design, system development and production monitoring trends

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years relevant experience or Associate’s Degree with 6 years relevant experience

Degree in Computer Science, Or MIS, or Equivalent degree

Three years of professional programming experience in Microsoft .NET technologies

Three years of accumulated professional experience in the following areas:

Web development technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.net, CSS, HTML, Razor, XML

Database development experience; Oracle/SQL Server

User interface architecture and design

Integrations development and API programming

Strong understanding of object-oriented development methodology

Good understanding of Manufacturing industry process

Proficient math aptitude; including trigonometry and geometry

Ability and desire to learn the manufacturing and business process supported by IT

Strong interpersonal communication and training skillsets

Ability to work independently or as part of a team and Customer service oriented.

Project and problem-solving skillsets.

English Verbal and Writing proficiency.

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS

Experience programming in .Net and SQL or PLSQL

Experience working in an Agile environment

Strong history of delivering value added solutions to business users
