Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant The Role Overview: HCLTech is a global technology company operating across 60 countries. As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring SLA adherence and process compliance, mentoring team members, handling tickets, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting technical issues. Ensure SLA adherence and process compliance (ITIL awareness) Mentor and train team members Handle tickets, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot technical issues Lead installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade activities Define and enforce operational processes Maximize system uptime and manage BASIS activities Collaborate with functional teams on cutover strategies and post-implementation support Key Responsibilities Overview: This role involves SAP server installation/configuration , high availability setup , and performing root cause analysis. You should have experience in Unix/Windows administration and knowledge of SAP HANA DB, Sybase ASE . Strong understanding of NetWeaver components and advanced English skills are essential. Technical Expertise: You will be required to demonstrate expertise in the following areas: SAP server installation/configuration : ABAP, Java, ABAP+Java stacks High Availability setup : Unix/Windows SAP BASIS server administration and root cause analysis Kickstart environment setup and maintenance End-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations for global clients SAP version and EHP upgrades Performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across app, DB, and OS Strong understanding of NetWeaver components Oracle DB, BRTools, SAP HANA DB, Sybase ASE, Linux/Windows admin Soft Skills: Candidates must possess excellent communication and documentation skills along with strong MS Office skills (Project, Visio). A customer-centric mindset with high adaptability is necessary for this role.]]>
