Job Details: Our client is hiring a Head of Retention to lead and scale our retention function in São Paulo. The role focuses on maximizing client lifetime value through strategic communication, cross-sell and upsell initiatives, and strong team leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced FinTech environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop the Retention team Identify and act on cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximise client value Deliver a high-quality client experience through accurate, timely, and personalised communication Monitor retention KPIs, churn rates, and client engagement metrics Work closely with Sales, CRM, and Support teams to resolve client requests efficiently Improve internal processes to enhance retention performance Coach team members to consistently meet and exceed targets Key Requirements: Fluent Portuguese (mandatory) Based in or willing to relocate to São Paulo, Brazil Proven experience managing and developing a Retention or Client Success team Strong background in FinTech / Trading / Brokerage environments Experience with upselling, cross-selling, and lifecycle strategies Confident leader with a performance-driven mindset Ideal Candidate Profile (optional but strong) Previously worked as Head of Retention, Retention Manager, or Senior Client Success Lead Comfortable with KPIs, targets, and commission-based structures Strong communicator with client-first thinking Hands-on and data-driven Apply now or or share your CV at kareena@huntstart.com – I'll get back to you.
