As an AI Developer at Pipefy, your mission is to leverage AI to solve user problems proactively It can be programming a new feature, polishing existing features, supporting a team member, giving feedback, or solving a bug. Your role is crucial in driving our AI capabilities forward. You'll have the opportunity to conduct and participate in experiments, make suggestions to improve our architecture and product and use tons of data to make the best decisions. Since we are fully remote, you'll meet and work with people from all around the world. Main Responsibilities: - Develop new features from start to finish: through conception, research, implementation, and maintenance, as well as improve existing ones, focusing on AI-driven functionalities. - Take responsibility for the system quality by driving testability together with architects and QAs to ensure that the way we design our platform enables controllability and automation. - Take responsibility for system stability, ensuring proper testing and observability, actively monitoring production behavior, and reacting quickly to incidents. - Share knowledge with the team and learn together. We believe knowledge is much more valuable when shared, so we're always learning and teaching each other. - Take part in the continuous improvement of Engineering processes, like recruiting, hiring, onboarding, documentation, incidents, tech talks, etc. - Sought out for technical guidance on your squad and related ones, anticipate technical issues at the product level, and make architectural and design decisions to avoid them. - Consistently reduce the complexity of projects, systems, and processes to get more done with less work. Breaks up deliverables to optimize for earlier feedback and incremental delivery of business value. - Help the team develop a more robust engineering culture focused on quality and impactful deliveries by setting an example and mentorship. - Identify and proactively create projects to fix Pipefy's architecture when preconditions change and current architecture is not optimal/fit anymore, extracting and documenting platforms whenever necessary. Requirements: - Write correct, clean code with periodic guidance; consistently follows best practices, including tests (unit, functional, integration). - Exceptional proficiency in Python, LLM applications and AI model integration. - Design and develop code to provide an integrated and managed development life cycle for traditional and generative ML applications. - Experience using LLM-based frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph and others. - Experience in implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and working with vector databases. - Have practical knowledge about infrastructure, service architectures, tools, libraries, frameworks, continuous integration, and continuous deployment systems. - Able to seamlessly learn and guide others across large sections of our codebase. - Actively contributes to the technical design of features. - Understand and make well-reasoned design tradeoffs in their area. - Strong ability with RESTful. Bonus point: - Experience in fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs. - Infrastructure: Cloud Computing, AWS, Networks, Load Balancers, Web Servers, Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, Disaster Recovery, Monitoring. - Experience with document processing and data extraction pipelines. - Experience with GraphQL apis. - You have a sharp eye for UX/UI, and you work user-centered. - Experience with different types of methodologies and tools for Unit, Integration and End to End testing. - Have good communication in oral and written English. - Experience working on agile and lean methodologies. - Experience building and scaling complex, high-performance, high-transaction applications.
