Job Description Becoming a Key Player in Data Engineering is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data-driven decision making. As a senior data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines that fuel business growth. Key Responsibilities: Create and optimize data pipelines for various data structures, including modeling, transformation, schemas, metadata, and workload management. Drive automation through metadata management and participate in ensuring compliance and governance during data use. Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to develop innovative data solutions. Evaluate and ensure the proper use of defined data architecture. Maintain a secure environment by adhering to established security principles. Required Skills & Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess a strong background in various data management architectures, particularly in the AWS environment. Your experience in data modeling, designing, building, and managing data pipelines, as well as working with commercial and open-source message queuing technologies, is highly valued. Competencies & Skills: Strong expertise in Databricks, Spark, Python, Terraform, SQL, Scala, S3, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions. Familiarity with EMR, Gitflow, Agile Methodology, and DevOps. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Languages: You must be fluent in English and possess advanced language skills.
