Digital Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining high-performance APIs using FastAPI. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Amazon EKS). They will also be proficient in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including query optimization. A key part of this role will involve collaborating with product managers and front-end developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Additional responsibilities include: Designing and implementing scalable microservices architecture. Optimizing applications for speed, reliability, and scalability. Managing deployments on Amazon EKS. Performing code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Requirements Key qualifications for this position include: 8-10 years of professional experience in software development with Python. Strong expertise in Python frameworks, particularly FastAPI (experience with Flask or Django is acceptable). Proficiency in asynchronous programming in Python (e.g., AsyncIO).
