About Our Role: This position involves providing guidance on optimal practices, contributing to client-site implementations, offering client support, and communicating development needs to the product development team. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and Murex best practices. Responsibilities: Murex Best Practices: Provide expertise in P&L processes, accounting, hedge accounting, position management, and financial reporting. Client-Site Implementations: Participate in workshops, prepare documentation, configure client requirements, and perform quality assurance tests during implementation or upgrade phases. Client Support: Manage open issues and provide assistance with upgrade activities. Development Communication: Handle communication with the product team and assist in building the product roadmap for the region. Documentation and Training: Offer internal and external documentation and training. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Murex Accounting knowledge, good understanding of accounting principles, accounting rules, ledger, and account balances. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve complex problems using insight and experience. Effective Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to articulate deliverables and mitigate risks. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with others, build strong teams and networks. Preferred Skills: Implementations and Upgrades: Experience with client-site MX.3 implementations and upgrades. Test Management: Familiarity with test management processes. Market Data Management: Understanding of market data management principles. SQL and Unix Knowledge: Basic programming skills in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands.
