We are in a phase of expansion and are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to manage the company’s most strategic accounts.
What will you do in this role? You will be the key player in ensuring that our most important clients receive customized technological solutions that address their most critical challenges, reducing quotation times, and ensuring the competitiveness of our services. You will work closely with departments such as Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and Procurement, among others.
What will be the main tasks and functions?
- Organize, coordinate and develop the business strategy for strategic clients related to IP, Capacity, Colocation and Security services, as well as the Ad-hoc infrastructure projects that these clients may request..
- Develop pricing strategies to optimize the company's sales and margins through the development of the corresponding business cases.
- Define the scope of the technical solutions of the proposals that will be presented to the client and their price.
- Coordinate with the purchasing departments to obtain the best cost prices associated with the offers in progress.
- Support the sales area throughout the commercial negotiation process, including participation in key meetings with clients.
- Contract Manager. Lead the coordination between all internal areas involved in the process of signing contracts with clients.
- Monitorization and internal coordination of everything related to the sales funnel of the clients managed by the candidate.
- Prepare monthly billing for customers.
- Controlling the quality of customer service.
- Depth knowledge of services marketed by Telxius, from the functionalities and options of each service to the cost elements that make them possible.
- Ensure the correct processing of won opportunities in BSS with the aim of getting incomes as soon as possible.
- Monitoring business as well as preparing reports for the company's top management.
- Manage the pricing process, ensuring both improvement in bids response times and increased revenue volume.
What are we looking for?
- Education: Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical roles with a focus on strategic accounts. Experience in or with companies affiliated with Telefónica is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of the Telecommunications market, especially the wholesale business.
- Telecommunications networks and transmission systems in DWDM and Ethernet technologies.
- IP networks based on Cisco and Juniper, as well as AntiDDoS solutions.
- Colocation services.
