Overview:
The Senior Developer – Innovation plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading multi-cultural teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that leverage the latest technologies to enhance Bunge's core business activities. As part of a global team, this individual will collaborate on challenging and meaningful projects that directly impact the company's success. Essential Functions:

• Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions utilizing languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Swift, Kotlin, machine learning algorithms and libraries, blockchain technology and protocols, distributed systems and architectures, cloud computing platforms, data visualization and analytics tools, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and 3D assets. 
• Actively participate in hackathons, entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship programs, coding competitions, open-source contributions, and patent applications to foster a culture of innovation. 
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of innovative solutions into Bunge's operations. 
• Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation within the organization. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to enhance Bunge's decision-making processes and optimize business outcomes. 
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges associated with innovative projects, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation. 
• Document and share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned from innovative projects to promote continuous learning and improvement within the organization. 
• Contributes to the development and implementation of innovative solutions that generate significant cost savings, revenue growth, or process improvements for Bunge. 
• Plays a key role in enhancing Bunge's competitiveness and market position through the successful adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. 
• Drives a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization, fostering a mindset of experimentation, learning, and adaptation. 
• Identifying and selecting the most promising innovative projects to pursue, considering factors such as market demand, technical feasibility, and potential impact on Bunge's business. 
• Making decisions on the appropriate technologies and methodologies to employ for specific innovative projects, balancing factors such as cost, scalability, and security. 
• Navigating complex technical challenges and making informed decisions to ensure the successful implementation of innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack, scalable and reusable applications and tools in technologies like AI/ML, GenAI, Blockchain, Metaverse, AR/VR, IoT, and robotics 
• Proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies. 
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement. 
• Strong programming skills in some of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Swift, Kotlin 
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.). 
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc.). 
• Understanding of distributed systems and architectures. 
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). 
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). 
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.). 
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analysis libraries.
