Product Application Engineer

Danfoss Caxias do Sul/RS is seeking an enthusiastic Product Application Engineer to establish and maintain good relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking  complete responsibility for Spool Valve Solutions product line in Danfoss Power Solutions . One of its main responsibilities is to provide technical support and training for sales teams and customers, in addition to supporting product specification as well as guiding customers on how to use them. Develops technical literature content and collects field data to support business strategy. This position is part of the sales team, working directly with Engineering areas and the Sales and Marketing team.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.

• Visit customers, verifying the application of products and specifications, performing tests and analyzing the possibilities of inserting new products/business opportunities.
• Provide technical answers and support for customers and sales team.
• Capability to communicate customers' needs to Business Unit
• Participate in meetings about products and their applications, analyzing the feasibility of new projects, improvements and innovations.
• Creation of application proposals/platforms including documentation.
• Provide content to technical literature and create product presentations.
• Conducting analysis of a customer’s forecast, trends in orders, and contract details to ensure we are staying ahead of their needs.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• 3+ years’ work experience as a Product Application Engineer
• Great attention to detail, ability to multitask, with strong interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
• Sensitive to customers’ needs and able to create good dialog with customers.
• English Language is Mandatory
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Hydraulics Knowledge (preferred)
