Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Sao Paulo office. As part of the Human Resources team, the successful new hire will provide coordination and administrative support to the human resource function.

Duties and responsibilities:

Inputs employee data into human resources information system (HRIS) database and external databases Schedules physicals, drug screens, and/or other safety requirements May prepare special reports Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects Assists in organizational training and development efforts May perform orientation and on-boarding Provides employment verifications for current and former employees Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and strong adherence to the practice of business ethics Ability to effectively work with all levels of employees Ability to work efficiently, in an organized manner and with attention to detail Ability to communicate fluently, in English and assigned country's language, both verbal and written Strong customer service orientation

Qualifications:

Associate degree in human resources or business 2+ years of experience in human resources Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Availability and willingness to travel if needed Ability to communicate fluently, in English and assigned country's language, both verbal and written All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST

Working conditions:

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
