Wunderman Thompson Commerce is seeking Software Testers with a focus on enhancing large-scale eCommerce platforms and online customer experiences. Join a dedicated team primarily concentrating on retail eCommerce websites, participating in test case preparation, test plan development, and executing manual and automated tests.
Note that this role is a contractual position based in Portugal or Brazil, with the selection process conducted in English.

Responsibilities:
As a Software Tester, your responsibilities will include system and integration testing for new projects, regression testing for ongoing site support, along with proficiency in testing RESTful services, database querying, and log file analysis.
Requirements:
- Experience in System Testing.
- Proficiency in testing transactional eCommerce sites, particularly in the retail sector.
- Ability to analyze requirements, define testable conditions, and create concise test scripts.
- Strong communication skills for writing precise reports and interacting with clients and external parties.
- Knowledge of SQL for database querying.
- Familiarity with testing RESTful services manually or with tools like Postman or ReadyAPI (SoapUI).
- Capability to review server log files to pinpoint errors.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX.
- Understanding of project lifecycle and experience in various project development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail sector, warehousing, or fulfillment.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Java, J2EE, DB2, DB Visualizer, SQL, XML, UNIX, and MQ Series.
- Exposure to pre-sales activities and proposal drafting.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or other Atlassian applications.
- Knowledge of HTML, Flash, and JavaScript.
