Position Overview

The Operational Excellence Director will lead and champion the excellence of all digital operations within Kinesso teams. This role combines expertise in media implementation, project management, and finance controls.

This executive will be responsible for:

  • Guaranteeing operational excellence within a variety of practices within digital media (display, search, social, programmatic, use of platforms), including designing and implementing processes such as SLA, QA, taxonomy, reporting and evolving to implementing project management tools such as Asana.
  • Great communication skills, ability to train and prepare our professionals to the next level in digital practices along with experts in each discipline. A great collaborative spirit and a curious mindset are needed to make sure we are lowering all barriers that may separate our teams from perfect implementation.
  • Great accountability practices, measuring success metrics such as effectiveness of our processes (fewer mistakes and impact on revenue), planned vs delivered on scope, and revenue forecast, planned vs delivered. Success in this position means improving the mentioned metrics along with the teams.
Responsibilities

Team Management:

Lead and mentor the teams – either direct or indirect reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.


Project Management:

Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from ideation to delivery, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and adherence to budget constraints.


Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring clear communication and alignment at every project phase.


Innovation:
Support the integration of emerging technologies and methodologies, driving the evolution and enhancement of retail media solutions.

Operational Excellence:
Streamline processes and implement best practices for efficient project delivery and solution development.

Budget Management:
Oversee project and department budgets, ensuring maximum ROI and fiscal responsibility.

Risk Management:
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, ensuring all solutions are viable, efficient, and effective.

Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with other departments to align strategies, share insights, and direct holistic success for clients.

Qualification – Required Skills


Experience working in a leading media agency, with a deep understanding of agency dynamics, client management, and media planning/buying processes.

Comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape, its challenges, and opportunities. Highly organized, with the ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines. High level of comfort presenting to executive teams and internal team members. Experience with project management tools (Asana, etc.). Ability to tackle complex challenges, offering innovative solutions that address both immediate and long-term organizational needs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with the aptitude to learn rapidly and pivot strategies when required. Ideally 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital media and data. Fluency in English or Spanish.
