The position
The Principal Governement Relations and Regulatory Affairs main responsabilities are:
- Provide regulatory advice to Equinor projects strategical issues (e.g. review of development plans, engagements with ANP superintendence, etc.) and routine matters (e.g. metering questions, rules for technical data acquisition, etc.).
- Work with Equinor's different projects on decisions for upcoming milestones (e.g. end of exploration period, decision point on appraisal plans, etc.).
- Develop risk assessments and mitigation actions based ANP resolutions, laws and decrees.
- Prepare and review reports and correspondences to be submitted to ANP on behalf of projects and business areas.
- Engage with ANP and other authorities frequently, as well as represent Equinor interests in external forums.
- Together with relevant business areas, discuss new regulations to be enacted by regulatory agencies and their impacts on Equinor businesses. Coordinate the contributions to Public Consultations directly or via IBP.
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing documents required for assignment of participating interests and/or participation on bidding rounds.

- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Proven Knowledge on the Brazilian regulation for the oil and gas sectors &gas; ANP resolutions, laws and decrees (previous experience working in regulatory affairs).
- Proven Knowledge on ANP's different webbased systems (eg. SEI, iENGINE, DPP) and preferably with a good relationship with the O&G regulatory agency and other relevant stakeholders.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written) is required.
- Team player with strong oral and written communication skills, ability to build relationship and interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to build trust withing the organization and act with integrity, as well as convey complex information to different audience.
