Job Title: Production Operator

Summary: The Production Operator is in charge of operating medium complexity machines and equipment, following operational procedures to maintain a safe process and ensure that the products meet the established specifications by the company and customer. Additionally, responsible for keeping production process records in the production tracking book.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate machines and medium complexity equipment following operational procedures and EHS guidelines to ensure a safe process and meet company and customer specifications.
  • Maintain production process records in the production tracking book.
  • Maintain equipment, report malfunctions to the immediate supervisor, aiming to keep productivity and product quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area.
  • Assist the area manager in training new employees in simple tasks.
  • Execute low to medium complexity tasks on production lines according to the established production plan and supervisor's guidance.
  • Report production information in the SAP system, such as material produced and raw material consumption.
  • Package and label finished products.
  • Handle the movement of finished products and raw materials using forklifts or suitable equipment.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 year of experience in the production area.
  • Forklift Operator Course.
  • Basic computer skills.
