About The Role
  • The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer supports the Principal Quality Assurance Engineer by coordinating business, technical, and quality criteria within the delivery.
  • They assist the software engineering team in executing the test strategy and ensuring optimal user journey.
  • The focus is on understanding the business domain operationally and technically to provide context for the tests and QA activities.
  • As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, proficiency in software engineering and testing practices is essential for coordinating and executing business process tests.

What You'll Be Expected To Do:
  • Work closely with project members, technical product owners, architects, and software engineers to understand delivery contexts;
  • Collaborate with the Core Test Data team to ensure test data availability for various tests;
  • Manage testing of cross-dependent features with other product teams;
  • Configure Test Tools accurately for enterprise-wide dashboards;
  • Introduce new tools and techniques to enhance quality deliveries continuously;
  • Maintain automation frameworks and test harnesses for robust CI pipelines and post-deployment tests;
  • Support Software Engineers in writing and maintaining automated functional tests through continuous integration;
  • Influence enterprise quality roadmaps, run POCs, and suggest tooling improvements;
  • Lead and guide teams to minimize inefficiencies and risks in large-scale deliveries.

Requirements:
  • Solid experience in quality roles, with increasing impact in digital or e-commerce environments;
  • Experience as a Software Quality Engineering leader handling multiple products;
  • Understanding and applying systems thinking to technology solutions;
  • Creating and maintaining large-scale test data structures for automation;
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Jasmin, etc.;
  • Experience with git SCM, GitHub, or Bitbucket tools;
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Java;
  • Developing automation frameworks for UI and API testing;
  • Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.;
  • Expertise in exploratory and context-driven testing using various test heuristics.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with VMs and containers in on-prem and cloud environments;
  • Awareness of the latest testing and technology trends;
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration;
