Senior Internal Communication Analyst

We're looking for an engaging, driven Senior Internal Communications Analyst to join our team at Volvo Group in Brazil.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to take accountability for co create and deliver the internal communications strategy for Volvo do Brasil.

You'll work in close partnership with our leadership and wider communication teams to develop an inclusive plan that utilises the best of digital communication tools.

What will you be doing?

The Senior Internal Communication Analyst is the eyes, ears, and voice of the organization in Volvo do Brasil - Curitiba and São José dos Pinhais.

The overall mission is to translate Volvo Group in Brazil's business strategy into engaging internal communication.

To achieve this, you need to have a deep business understanding, be able to adjust communication to different target groups and find new ways to spark dialogue and increase understanding of our strategy and direction.

You will have the overall project management responsibility for selected internal communication initiatives.

This includes setting up communication plans, securing messages across channels, creating content (in varied formats, such as text and video), executing the plans and following up to maximize the impact.


Other responsibilities will include:

  • Manage internal communications projects alongside stakeholders, by working in conjunction with the senior management team, People & Culture, develop and manage the content plan for internal communication in line with strategic and operational requirements.
  • Help make the People & Culture agenda come to life by creating efficient and engaging communication that supports strategic business decisions, highlighting success stories and best practices.
  • Support the organization's based in Curitiba and São José dos Pinhais with communication plans and execution, making sure the business strategies and targets come alive, contribute to employee engagement, and secure consistency with Volvo Group's overall strategic communication agenda.
  • You will plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communication channels for communicating with managers and people internally, ensuring the alignment of internal and external messages and communications.
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with all different business areas as the external communication messages.
  • Evaluate the success of various communication strategies and supply and implement recommendations for improvement of the content accordingly.
  • Oversee the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational belief and reputation.
  • Look for opportunities for content creation and distribution and coordinate with different functions to create occasion proper collaterals.
  • Support digital and face to face events, supply advice and guidance to executives, while also overseeing the daytoday tactical work on a regular basis.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

This is you

You have an academic degree in Communication, Journalism, or similar and significant working experience in the field, working in a large, complex matrix organization.

You have a deep understanding of both the internal and external communication arena and years of work experience in the field.

You switch easily from strategic planning to more hands-on tasks like creating content and organizing events.
