The Portfolio Manager for Compressor Packaging will be driving the global Transformation of Industry Turbo Compressor Packaging portfolio management efforts and develop and adopt the Transformation of Industry strategy according to market needs.

The Portfolio Manager will continuously explore future opportunities as part of the global Energy Transformation and actively contribute to the SPM process.

The role calls for managing product requirements, engineering status and the portfolio financial evaluations and business cases. The role is also responsible for commercialization for new offerings and providing information to sales and proposal teams (e.g. Training) and support the defined targets by looking constantly for development topics as well as be brave enough to release and execute decisions.

  • Drive the global Industrial Applications portfolio management efforts.
  • Develop and adopt the Industrial Applications strategy according to market needs.
  • Explore future opportunities as part of the global Energy Transformation
  • Contribute to the Industrial Applications SPM process.
  • Manage product requirements and engineering status.
  • Manage the portfolio financial evaluations and business case.
  • Responsible for commercialization for new offerings and providing information to sales and proposal teams (e.g. Training)
  • Support the defined targets by looking constantly for development topics as well as be brave enough to release and execute decisions.

What you Bring

  • University degree in Engineering and a proven Business Development, Marketing, or Engineering background
  • Broad knowledge of the lifecycle process of compression products, including relevant interfaces, milestones / Gates between phases, and to other related processes
  • More than 10 years of experience in the energy business for Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Product Introduction, previous Packaging experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Value Selling and similar selling tools/approaches.
  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects, leading agile role is beneficial (Kanban / SCRUM)
  • Ability to connect and build strong networks as well as by high level presentation skills (internal and external)
  • Passion for new ways of working, making matrix structures work, as well as a strong strategic background.
  • Team leadership to manage product engineering team tasks.
  • Proactivity and ability to interface between product engineering and partner departments: production, planning, purchasing, etc.
  • Experience with customer relations, meetings, and technical presentations.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
