Position Summary:
The Tactical Buyer will represent the Thales DIS Business Unit with external suppliers and be based in Barueri, Brazil and be responsible for all Purchase Order creation, changes, and cancellation along with being the primary point of contact with the supplier communication

Key Areas of Responsibility:

PURCHASING:

Responsible to manage Procurement Purchase Contracts with the key suppliers assigned to her/him Supplier maintenance with updated compliance and other required documentation in the different existing tools, to secure their availability for usage for PR/PO process.

Execute all Day To Day activities related to Procurement Purchase Contracts. Receiving procurement requests and verifying their conformity to operating methods. Transforming Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs)

Responsible to review and ensure accuracy of the PO including but not limited to:
ship-to location, supplier information, and relevant notes/comments. Ensuring supplier acknowledgement of Purchase Order receipt and delivery commitment. Managing purchase order cancellation, rescheduling or PO information changes (quantity, price, and requirements). Follow-up and expediting of purchase orders. Managing disputes and problem resolution.

NEGOTIATION:

Manage local negotiations within the (DOA) Delegation of Authority thresholds and in alignment with Regional Procurement Category Managers and Buyers.

RFx management within the DOA thresholds. Involve the segment team (CBs/CMs) and/or PPM as needed.

GOVERNANCE:
Report on procurement projects status. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis. Be accountable for compliance with Thales procurement policy and with the \"Manage Acquisition\" process of Chorus 2.0.

Report on individual and Team KPIs Participate and/or Lead Supplier reviews (Weekly Delivery reviews, Performance improvement and Supplier Program Reviews Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business with minimum 4+ years of experience Experienced in Oracle E-Business Suite or equivalent ERP systems

  • Ability to lead negotiations. Expertize in Commercial Contracts negotiation and preparation.
  • Ability to make commitments and deliver on such Ability to work individually and as part of a team & cross-functional team.
