Moving Associate

The moving associate is responsible to provide support in the operational process of moving services, and will communicate with SIRVA's moving consultant, clients and suppliers.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support to domestic and international moving processes
  • Documents checking
  • Translation of packing list, and importation and exportation statements (DSI and DSE)
  • Elaboration of bill of landing (BL) and Air Waybill (AWB)
  • Contact with the shipment companies in order to book ships for the loads
  • Requesting of payments and purchases orders
  • Communication in English, Spanish and Portuguese with suppliers and clients
  • Communication with IPHAN to get authorization for the services
  • Responsible to keep the internal system updated
Qualifications and Preferred Skills

  • Intermediate level of English must read and write well
  • Spanish language is desired
Education and Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in international relations or foreign trade in course
