Descrição da vaga

  • Think holistically: You work in one of the most innovative IT departments at Bosch the Bosch Private Cloud, which is responsible for the further development and global operation of the Bosch Private Cloud and thus directly supports the success of the Robert Bosch Group's business units.
  • Implement reliably: In the role of DevOps Engineer, you support our product team Virtual-Machineasaservice (Windows/Linux) in the conception, implementation, operation and further development of cloud services and automation code.
  • Implement holistically: You will help with the integration and operation of thirdparty services and products "as a service" in the cloud (e.g. Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Monitoring) and continuously develop the service offering as a team.
  • Help shape the future: You are interested and informed about new cloud technologies and shape the further development of our products, organization and the implementation of the Bosch cloud strategy.
  • Live cooperation: You are in close contact with our internal customers, understand customer requirements and jointly prioritize service development in your product team.
Qualificações

  • Working method: organized, responsible and feels comfortable in an agile working environment (SCRUM)
  • Experience: several years of relevant professional experience in software engineering as well as ideally indepth knowledge in one or more IT infrastructure areas (compute, network, storage), container technologies
  • Knowhow: Knowledge of one or more object oriented programming languages (e.g. Java), scripting (e.g. Bash, Powershell or Python) and automation (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) as well as knowledge of cloud technologies such as OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes and CI/CD such as Git, Artifactory, Jenkins.
  • Enthusiasm: Interest in current IT cloud technologies and "PlatformasaService" as a cloud provider
  • Languages: good spoken and written knowledge of English
