THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring aSenior Frontend Software Engineer for our Engagement squad, part of the CIA team in Brazil

The Engagement Squad within CIA (our B2B focus area).

Our primary objective in CIA is to establish and maintain a platform that seamlessly integrates our benefits and services into the lives of employees across companies & organizations of different sizes all over the world.


As a key member of the Engagement squad, your role is to provide clients with valuable insights into the usage of Wellhub by their employees.

This includes showing not only how employees and their family members use the benefit but also how usage evolves.

Your efforts will enable clients to see the return on investment and understand the impact of Wellhub on their workforce.

This agile team is composed of fellow developers, a product manager, and a UX designer.

Together, we collaborate on the continual improvement of the tools and applications under your care, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of both internal teams and external clients.


You will be expected to develop the tools and the platform that power these objectives while working closely with stakeholders and the other developers.

We also count on your unique view on how we evolve the platform technically and business-wise. This role is an excellent opportunity to take your expertise in front-end development to the next level.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Work within an agile fullstack talented engineering team
  • Help drive the frontend architecture of our platform using stateoftheart tech
  • Partner up with the team to make new features on our platform
  • Write maintainable code and tests
  • Face challenges to our approach headon
  • Ensure highquality code using best practices such as code review and pair programming
  • Followup engineering and product KPIs
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding worklife balance.

WHO YOU ARE

  • An expert in frontend technologies such as React and Typescript;
  • Experience with BFF using GraphQL;
  • Someone with expertise in CSSinJS technologies such as styledcomponents and emotion;
  • Able to make changes and debug issues with our build process (e.g. using webpack and vite)
  • A team player who can get their point across to technical and nontechnical people in English/Portuguese;
  • A believer in automation (be it unit and integration tests, CI/CD, or something else);
  • Used to work with and develop design systems that power multiple teams;
  • A puzzlesolver that uses critical and analytical solutions;
  • Value facts and data to make decisions.

The following would be considered a plus:

  • Experience with microservices and high-volume distributed systems
  • Experience with Datadog
  • Experience with Apollo Client / Server
  • Experience with AB testing
  • Experience with AWS
