Content Writer Job Description
Captain Words is a writing agency connecting writers with those who have a need for something to be written.

We are looking for content writers to join our team and create new and unique content, blog posts, guides, marketing copy, and more for our clients.


When writing for Captain Words, you will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our clients' audiences, attract customers and boost their brand awareness.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare wellstructured articles according to client guidelines
  • Research industryrelated topics and list source references
  • Meeting the word count requirements
  • Proofread for grammar and spelling errors
  • Submit work to editors and Project Managers for revision
  • Completing revisions and resubmitting articles for editing

Requirements and Skills

  • Experience working as a content writer or freelance writer
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Excellent command of English or Non-English languages for writing
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy skills and access to stable internet connection

Additional Beneficial Skills or Experience

  • Expansive general knowledge
  • Interest and ability to learn new skills
  • Previous work experience in Hospitality, Sales, Management, Recruitment, Marketing, or a similarly demanding field that requires extensive time management, organizational, and selfmanagement skills
- iGaming and crypto experience a definite advantage

  • Entrepreneurial tendencies
  • Enjoy creative writing and be capable of writing under time pressure (successful NaNoWriMo participants are a bonus)
  • Any additional educational experience (formal or digital)
