Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Kafka Developer should have solid development experience using Confluent Kafka
  • Strong experience in developing microservices using Springboot and Kafka
  • Integrations that consume and post data into Kafka topics
Kafka Connectors such as SQL Server CDC, Oracle CDC, JBDC and MQ Connectos, Serialization and deserialization

  • Avro, ksqlDB, Rest Proxy (expose and maintain endpoints), Connect their integrations with RBAC Troubleshooting in Kafka on Openshift Environment, Know Kafka Devops
  • Experience in using MQ Oracle source and Sink Connectors
  • Experience in Kafka performance testing
  • Fluent in English and good communication skills
