Position Title: Senior Datastage Developer

Job Overview:

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Designing, developing, and implementing DataStage ETL solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Creating data models and schemas to support ETL processes and ensure data integrity.
• Optimizing ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
• Implementing data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Producing technical documentation and conducting testing and debugging of ETL processes.
• Deploying ETL solutions to production environments and providing ongoing support.
• Staying updated on industry best practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a DataStage Developer or Architect.
• Expertise in designing and implementing ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Strong knowledge of data integration concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with version control systems and deployment tools.
• Certifications in IBM InfoSphere DataStage or related technologies are advantageous.
