What you will do

As a Senior Business Analyst you will be involved in one or several of the following activities: stakeholder requirements elicitation, end user studies, process definitions, pre-studies, modelling, and design to find the optimal solution and requirements management of our business and technical solutions. In this role you will be expected to gain a deep understanding of our business goals and stakeholder needs when working with various local and global business processes, services, and solutions.

You'll play a crucial role in supporting defining the scope and vision of the product/service and the concept of future solutions through validation of technical feasibility based on business/user values as part of the service design and development process.

Advisory and support to stakeholders to gather and identify their needs and problems and what solution would best address them;Work closely with Agile team: Product Managers, Service Designer, Solution Architects, Developers to understand expectations and work towards making the Volvo Group Connected Solutions as seamless as possible for the business;Initiate communication channels for end users to ensure that everyone working with the solution understands for whom the solution is created and their needs;Perform user and market research for potential solutions that meets business requirements, end user studies and end user evaluation to secure that important user needs are met with the prototype or working solution;Focus on understanding business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and optimizing business operations;Support prioritization of scope based on end user needs and business value;Bridge the gap between IT and the business world by understanding needs and requirements of the business and translate them into technical specifications;Work with Software Engineers to ensure that the technical solutions meet business requirements;Support the consistency with global processes and application use;Propose changes that make the software product more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance cost;Continuously work to improve existing ways of working.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Business or related field;Experience as a Business Analyst, Solutions Engineer or similar with special focus on the business aspects of the technical solution in a global environment;Deep understanding of business analysis techniques and processes to address business requirements focused on user value proposition;Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset;Software development experience would be appreciated;Enjoy working with people across the organization to facilitate the requirement management process on a global scale;Fluent in English, both written and spoken;Confident and strong communication skills – both oral and written in English;Good team player - must be able to work with stakeholders at different levels in a global team.
