About the team


The Corporate Compliance team is responsible for regulatory landscape of regulated and non-regulated entities as well as act in preventing, managing, and mitigating the financial crime risks, that may occur through the payments we process, for our global customers or the products and services our business provides.

Our goal is to be a be a trusted and independent second line of defense control function, in-order to protect FIS from financial crime risks.


What you will be doing
As an Internal Control Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Compliance team.

You will ensure that all requirements of a payment institution as required by Resolution BCB 80 and 81 and Resolution CMN 4,968 in which a robust and sustainable framework for internal controls must be properly implemented to ensure adequacy of the regulatory requirements as well as to comply with the obligations posed by the Resolution BCB 65 on Compliance Testing activities.

This role will be responsible for ensuring a proper Internal Controls and Compliance Testing Framework is set up for Worldpay do Brasil Instituição de Pagamento Ltda, a payment entity with a license granted by Central Bank in Brazil.


What you bring:

  • 4 to 7 years' experience of providing regulatory compliance advisory services in a global payments' environment, large financial institution or fintech.
  • Guide, advise and monitor the implementation of controls, procedures, and processes to ensure proper adherence of the local policies and CB regulation (Resolution No. 4,968/2021).
  • Evaluate and test the effectiveness of the controls of any WP Brazil legal obligation (Resolution BCB 65) and recommend action plans for the weaknesses identified.
  • Prepare and submit an annual report on internal controls for approval by the Board of Directors, as well as other reports in accordance with regulatory requirements or required by the regulator.
  • Support the 1LoD in the Control Self-Assessment (CSA) exercises.
  • Project management experience.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience.
  • High standard of written and verbal communication for policies and procedures design and maintenance.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle and resolve challenging situations, work in a collaborative manner and be part of a wider Corporate Compliance team.

Added bonus if you have:

  • An antimoney laundering related qualification e.g., Certified Internal Control Specialists ("CICS").
  • COSO Knowledge.
