Airswift is seeking applicants for the role of Service Consultant - Logistics to join the Latin American team in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.

Job Summary The Service Consultant is responsible for advising clients & contractors as well as staff about suitable travel options in accordance with their needs and policies, wants and capabilities.

In addition, they help them plan trips to domestic or international destinations, accommodation, transport, insurance and fares. In addition to booking reservations, they should inform travellers of passport and visa requirements.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with Immigration Requirements & Trainings and Documents of contractors as per Labour Legislation on all countries we operate and have expatriate & national personnel assigned to work.

Responsibilities Organizetravels from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation and transportation of our staff and contractors – both nationals and expats;Supplytravelers with pertinent information and useful travel materials & policiesManage purchases of logistics in ASW system and ensure all are rechargeable to clientsKeep financial statements and documents related to logistics purchasesManage large-scale projects responsible for crew changes planning & logisticsResolve travel issues, complaints, and refundsProvide advice regarding visas, immunizations, and travel safetyProvidefriendly service and building professional relationships with clients & contractors

Responsible for managing relationship with contractors & End Clients in all Projects where we allocate personnel related to Logistics, Documentation, and Immigration.

Research on visa/work permit processes in new locations.
Formulate and update Client Specific Logistics Procedures.

Responsible for all relocation services of our contractors & working internally with the relevant teams when it comes to lease contracts.

Logistics costs negotiations with end clientsRequirements Knowledge and Experience A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign travel destinations and requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with suppliers (Hotels / Travel Agencies / Transportation companies, etc).Great knowledge of crew change planning.

Qualifications/Skills Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality or relevant fieldExtensive experience in the travel industry and good geographical knowledge.
Experience in customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong telephone and email etiquette.
