About You and this RoleIf you love solving problems and excel in a customer-focused setting, this role is for you. Ideal candidates will have experience in distributed systems, Linux/Unix design, networking, and reliability engineering. You should be passionate about containers, Kubernetes, and building DevOps tools to streamline app deployment.
Join us in building a scalable hybrid-cloud platform based on Kubernetes to support Liferay customer systems globally. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in cloud computing and contribute to defining the future of cloud-native infrastructure.
Key Objectives- Manage release process and pipelines
- Monitor system performance, security, and functionality
- Handle support tickets and patches
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Provide technical support in a cloud environment
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Operating production environments 24/7
- Scripting skills in common languages
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Networking knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Agile practices familiarity
- Experience with managed Kubernetes services
- Automating development processes
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Linux, MySQL, NGINX, etc.
- Google Cloud certifications
