About the job

As we scale our presence in the Brazilian market, we are seeking a Lead Product Manager to join the Credix Product team. You will lead the improvements to Credipay's core platform, ensuring robustness, scalability, and reliability that align with the company's growth strategy and its developer-first approach. As the Lead Foundations PM, you will drive the development of core capabilities that power Credix's product, including managing APIs, infrastructure, and the underlying technologies of our product stack. You will report directly to the VP of Product.


Qualifications

  • +5 years in product management and/or technical roles.
  • Fluent communication in both Portuguese and English.
  • Experience in banking and payment infrastructure and deep understanding of Brazil's payment regulation.
  • Deep understanding of financial systems integration and API management.
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic product roadmap.
  • Knowledge of risk and credit management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills to drive product development and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation and training materials.
  • Experience in developing and delivering effective training programs.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.


Core Responsibilities

Platform Integration and API Management:

  • Ensure seamless integration with various banking systems, payment networks, certificadoras, and financial institutions.
  • Develop and manage secure, reliable, and world-class APIs for third-party developers.

Financial Product Development and Risk Management:

  • Create and manage financial products such as receivables anticipation, graphical accounts, payment conciliations, and different payment modalities, such as pix, pix installments, and boletos.
  • Make strategic decision on product roadmap, considering client needs and platform scalability, including designing workflows with multiple escrow accounts and debt facilities integration.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with financial services, including credit risk, operational risk, and fraud risk, in partnership with Credix Head of Risk.

Microservices Architecture and Technical Communication:

  • Implement a microservices architecture to ensure platform flexibility and scalability.
  • Communicate technical requirements and constraints effectively to the engineering team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, sales, customer support) and external stakeholders (merchants, financial institutions) to align on product development and prioritization.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed documentation and training programs for internal teams and external users, ensuring better adoption and retention.
