Job Description:

We are looking for a Product Specialist with a strong IT background to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the technical expert on our products, bridging the gap between our development team and our clients. You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the technical needs of our customers, providing in-depth knowledge, troubleshooting, and support throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical expert for our products, providing detailed knowledge and support to clients and internal teams.
• Be part of the product implementation team to define product helping to solve and report basic IT requirements, ensuring alignment with market and customer needs.
• Assist in product launch activities, including the creation of technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product performance, working with engineering teams as needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive in the market.
• Analyze product interfacing/API needs to support servicing our clients in the integration with third party systems.
• Experience in data extraction and reports formatting of computerized systems.
• Good knowledge of Database management systems.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in a product specialist, technical support, or similar role, preferably in Logistics or Mobility area.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.
• Good level of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with product management tools and software.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or Transportation Engineering or Engineering.
• Knowledge of other languages, other than Portuguese.
• Good knowledge of the collective transport sector, analysis and design skills for methodological, organizational and managerial skills.
• Some capability to use SQL to query the system.
• Time Management and Problem-Solving skills.
• Great motivation.
• Classroom management and oral presentation skills.
• Proactivity in capturing the signals of dynamics and events that influence the development of the project.
• knowledge of other scheduling systems in transportation.

The work will consist primarily in the start-up of software systems developed by MAIOR in Brazil and abroad, and in the provision of related services such as business process analysis, application configuration, training and support online and on-site.

The ideal candidate must show interest and willingness to keep up to date on issues related to the world of Public Transport.
