What will you do?


  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing platform engineering team;
  • Define and execute the platform strategy, aligning it with business goals;
  • Establish and oversee comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes to ensure product quality;
  • Implement and improve DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes;
  • Build and maintain a resilient infrastructure through SRE principles and practices;
  • Design, implement, and manage the underlying infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage;
  • Optimize database performance and efficiency through fine-tuning and performance analysis.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor spending in AWS and other services to maximize ROI;
  • Work closely with developers to ensure alignment and efficient collaboration;
  • Lead incident response and post-incident analysis to prevent recurrence;
  • Keep management teams apprised of progress, challenges, growth planning, and incidents regularly.


What do you need to know?


  • Bachelor's degree in Computing or related;
  • Experience as a Platform Engineering Manager or similar role;
  • Background in software engineering, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and infrastructure;
  • Experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript;
  • Deep understanding of testing, quality assurance, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with database administration and optimization;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Experience in cost management and optimization for cloud environments;
  • Experience in interviewing and hiring;
  • Fluent in English.


Great if you have


  • Experience or certifications in AWS;
  • Previous experience with serverless applications;
  • Intermediate Spanish.
