About Inductosense

We design and manufacture ultrasonic sensing technology to monitor corrosion which helps our clients to save costs, reduce unplanned shutdown, meet net zero targets and migrate to a fully digitised solution. Our core technology is based around patented embeddable, wireless, battery-free sensors and we have a full range of digital data collection solutions including IoT and robotics. The unique advantages of the technology also enable us to work with OEMs to integrate our technology into products during manufacture. Since we spun out of the University of Bristol in 2015 we have been on a journey of product development, certification and trialling the technology with major companies globally. The Inductosense WAND technology has now been approved by some of the largest companies in the world, including Saudi Aramco and Petrobras, and our clients are now deploying our technology at scale. As a result we are seeing a significant growth in sales and are scaling up the team. This is a very exciting time to join the company

Job Description

We are now looking for a

Customer

Support

Engineer

to work with our growing

customer

base in South America, providing exceptional technical

support . This is a

customer

facing role, based in Rio, Brazil, and reporting to a UK based Manager. This role has the potential for extensive travel.

The role will include: Field

Support Collaborating with the UK team and local partners to provide

customer

support

and technical expertise during sensor installations Becoming a technical expert in the WAND technology Providing technical

support

in the field to achieve successful WAND deployments Working with

customer

to

support

and supervise installations (onshore and offshore sites) Translating Inductosense literature to local language Preparing & delivering training to

customer s Mentoring and assessing an installer's ability to successfully install the WAND technology and troubleshoot Data gathering on site, report new applications and potential new opportunities to the sales team Ensuring accurate reporting and identifying any gaps, addressing any issues.

Technical Sales Providing pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and ongoing after-sales

support

as required

Maintaining strong relationships with our

customer s and local partners. Leveraging existing relationships within target companies, establish new connections to create new business opportunities. Working with the Inductosense to develop case studies Attending regular internal meetings with the UK team and local partners, providing accurate forecasts and regular reports. Frequent travel is required for this position, mainly within South America but with an initial training period in the UK for up to 4 weeks. Thereafter, this role will be managed remotely with regular meetings with the UK team. Profile

The ideal candidate will have/be: Good level of English, Portuguese, and Spanish, both written and spoken Previous exposure to working in potentially hazardous environments on offshore & onshore operational Oil or Gas installations, with valid offshore working and medical certificates for Brazil An excellent problem solver Exceptional attention to detail Awareness of best practices for operational oil & gas sites A high level of Health & Safety awareness with relevant certifications Experience of working with

customer s in a commercial and technical environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Proficient with standard computer software (such as MS Word and Excel) and be able to write detailed reports & maintain an organised system of files. Able to travel internationally Experience of working in a technical and commercial environment Experience within asset integrity inspection and corrosion monitoring, ultrasound experience is preferred.
