POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the accounting, tax and finance aspects of the business. Provide reliable financial and operational information necessary for business decisions. Support the accounting and finance routines to prepare the financial statements monthly.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform the entire accounting closing routine, analyzing transactions, and recording expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, fixed assets, according to the company's schedule.
  • Carry out reconciliation routines for the various accounting accounts, analyzing entries, carrying out reclassification and working on an action plan for correction.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets and financial statements, developing reports with interpretations of results and variations occurring in the period, supporting decision-making with accurate and relevant information.
  • Monitor the accounting of integrated processes, identifying needs for parameter adjustments and systemic improvements, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and policies and legal accounting principles.
  • Execute routines in the ERP system with a focus on continuous improvement, carrying out and creating analyzes and proposing improvements in related processes.
  • Delivery of DCTF/ECD/ECF ancillary obligations. Executar toda a rotina de fechamento contábil, analisando transações e contabilização de despesas, contas a pagar, contas a receber, faturamento, folha de pagamento, imobilizado, conforme cronograma da empresa;
  • Perform other accounting, finance, and purchase duties, as needed on a day-to-day basis.
  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects.
  • Provide information for required governmental surveys and reports, as requested.



OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding Accounting payables and Accounting Receivables.
  • Experience with purchasing and taxes is a plus.
  • Experience in TOTVS system is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in an office atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is desired.
  • Technician courses in accounting
  • Five (5) years or more of “hands on” as Accounting Analyst experience is strongly preferred.
  • It is appreciated have previous experience as an accounting analyst on an industry.
  • Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must have a positive attitude and cooperate well.
  • Must be responsible and reliable.
  • Excellent problem solving.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs (especially with an advanced Excel skills) would be greatly appreciated.
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
