  1. Define estratégias de gerenciamento de reivindicações com a equipe do projeto.
  2. Cria procedimentos de reivindicação.
  3. Revisa e entende todos os contratos em que é uma das partes assinantes (PPP, SHA, EPC e Subcontratos).
  4. Lidera todas as atividades de reivindicações, incluindo, mas não se limitando a correspondências recebidas e enviadas (defesa ou reivindicação), lidera discussões e negociações de reivindicações, coleta evidências de suporte, identifica a base legal das reivindicações e coordena reuniões.
  5. Estabelece registros rastreáveis de reivindicações, atualiza e monitora os casos de reivindicações. Fornece relatórios semanais sobre o status das reivindicações. Mantém o registro de Reivindicações e Ordens de Variação.
  6. Prepara a documentação para reivindicações: gerencia a preparação de Reivindicações, Propostas de Ordens de Variação e Emendas Contratuais.
  7. Identifica mudanças no Contrato, emite notificações, prepara submissões de reivindicações. Mantém o registro de Reivindicações.
  8. Coordena com consultores externos para questões contratuais ou legais, como Consultor Jurídico.
  9. Participa de negociações, resolução de disputas e/ou processos legais.
  10. Cumpre os KPIs de reivindicação definidos pela equipe de PM.
  11. Coordena com todas as partes interessadas no projeto (externos: SPC, Governo, fornecedores externos, etc.; e internos da empresa: diferentes entidades, etc.).
  12. Fornece contribuições para todos os relatórios internos e externos (por exemplo, Relatório Mensal).


Reporting to the Commercial Project Manager, the Claim Manager is mainly in charge to:

  • Define claim management strategies with the project team
  • Create claim procedures
  • Review and understand all the contracts where in the company is one of the signing parties (PPP, SHA, EPC and Subcontracts)
  • Lead all claim activities, including but not limited to incoming and outgoing correspondence (defending or claiming), leading claim discussion and negotiation, collecting claim supporting evidence, identifying claim legal basis and coordinating meetings
  • Establish claim traceable records, update and monitor claim cases. Provide claim report on a weekly basis of claim status. Maintains Claim and Variation Order register.
  • Prepare claimable documentation: manage the preparation of Claims, Variation Orders proposals and Contract Amendments.
  • Identify Changes under the Contract, issue notifications, prepare claims submission. Maintain Claim register.
  • Coordinate with the external consultants for contractual or legal issues, such as Legal Consultant.
  • Participate in negotiation, dispute resolution and/or legal proceedings
  • Fulfil claim KPI defined under the PM team
  • Coordinates with all stakeholders on the project (external : SPC, Government, external suppliers, etc.; and internal: different entities, etc.)
  • Provide inputs for all internal and external reportings (e.g. Monthly report)
