Job Information

The company is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, problem-solving, and customer impact.


You’ll work closely with clients to deeply understand their workflows, translate needs into technical implementations, and deploy AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value. This role is part architect, part builder, part advisor—perfect for someone who loves shipping real systems, not just writing docs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand business problems and map technical solutions
  • Deploy, integrate, and customize AI and ML-powered products within client environments
  • Build data pipelines, APIs, automations, and lightweight applications to support deployment
  • Configure and optimize LLM-based systems, retrieval pipelines, and agent workflows
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to inform product direction and feature design
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of deployed systems
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time and guide customers through adoption and best practices
  • Create documentation, solution architectures, and integration guides


What You Bring

  • Strong software engineering background (Python required; bonus for JS/TS, Go, or cloud-native tools)
  • Experience deploying or integrating production systems in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, vector search, APIs, orchestration tools, or applied ML workflows
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve open-ended problems with minimal direction
  • Excellent communication skills — comfortable working directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A product mindset with a bias toward shipping solutions quickly and iterating


Bonus Points

  • Prior experience in consulting, customer engineering, solutions architecture, or FDE roles
  • Experience with security-conscious or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of DevOps, MLOps, or distributed systems
