including RTGS, ACH, CSD, National Payment Gateways, and Trading/Settlement platforms.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead CMA’s business development
and client management efforts in Latin America. This role requires a proactive hunter with
strong C-level relationships in the financial sector and the ability to grow our footprint across the
region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and close new business opportunities with Central banks and major Financial institutions
- Be able to travel frequently on business trips
- Maintain and expand long-term relationships with existing clients
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, supporting them through implementation and beyond
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, advising senior management on strategy
- Lead RFP processes, prepare proposals and presentations
- Represent CMA at key events and industry forums in LATAM
- Drive partnerships and alliances with regional stakeholders
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technology sales / business development (financial software
preferred)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in LATAM
- Strong existing network in banking and regulatory institutions
- Knowledge of payment systems (RTGS, ACH, CSD, Instant Payments) is a strong
advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across Latin America
- Fluent in Spanish and English (B2+/C1)
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical/finance background preferred
