Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Lawyer at Ax Legal.
• The Senior Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal and strategic advice to technology, engineering, and service companies operating in Brazil. Our clients generaly work in the industrial and mining sectors.
• The role includes day-to-day tasks such as incorporating companies, drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating agreements, labour advice, and advising clients on legal compliance and risk management.
• While the role is based in Belo Horizonte, MG, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Expertise in corporate and commercial law. Idealy some knowledge of labour matters.
• Strong knowledge of the industrial, mining, and/or technology sectors.
• Experience in providing legal advice to international companies.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate complex issues in simple terms.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and verbal).
