Founded in Los Angeles in 2023, BioBlanks is an end-to-end sustainable manufacturing platform leveraging innovative practices to create custom apparel for modern businesses and creators. It is no secret that ‘swag’ and ‘merch’ has become synonymous with cheap and undesirable clothing to be worn once and never thought of again. We spent the past 3 years building a proprietary process in downtown Los Angeles to create apparel that rivals your favorite luxury brand while ensuring that the garments are kind to the earth. We use traceable organic materials, low-impact dyes, and regenerative manufacturing methods to ensure our customers not only love our merch, but the earth does as well. And the best part? We handle every step from design, sourcing, production, and delivery to make sure our clients can stay focused on what they do best -- building a killer brand.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking to add a talented art director & brand designer to the BioBlanks team. The art director will work closely with the executive team to craft an iconic brand while working directly with our clients to ensure their brand + audience is reflected in their custom apparel. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, experienced in brand design, and excited to work in a fast-paced creative environment.

What You'll Do:

Craft our core brand assets like logos, colors, typography, and imagery that'll make BioBlanks stand out from the crowd

Design packaging, website, one-pagers, and marketing materials that screams "this hasn’t been done before and we’re here to make a difference"

Collaborate with our design team to ensure our clients' brand aesthetics, values, and target audiences are seamlessly incorporated into their custom apparel.

Create visual concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate our customers, making them fall in love with our brand and mission

What You'll Need:

3-5 years of experience in art direction + brand design (you've been around the block a few times)

️ Experience building iconic brands from scratch (you know how to lay a solid foundation

Experience working with startups

️ Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop (you're a design tool wizard)

A deep understanding of color theory (you know your way around a color wheel)

Mission driven and a passion for fashion, sustainability, and building cool shit (because who doesn't love that combo?)
