Role : Junior DevOps Engineer

Mandatory Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Work Model: 2 days per week onsite + remaining days remote


We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer based in Brazil to join our global teams. You will

work closely with DevOps and engineering teams in London and Poland, and you will also be

part of the early phase of building a growing DevOps team in Brazil.

This is a junior‑level role with a strong focus on learning, mentorship, and professional

development. You do not need experience with all of our technologies — the most important

qualities are your attitude, willingness to learn, and solid technical fundamentals.


What You Will Do

• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions

• Assist with deployments on OpenShift (Kubernetes), AWS cloud environments, and bare‑metal

servers

• Work with configuration management using Ansible

• Support Linux/Unix systems and assist with Windows environments when needed

• Contribute to monitoring and observability using Dynatrace and the ELK Stack

• Collaborate with development teams using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub

• Participate in Kanban‑based delivery cycles

• Learn and use AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Rovo, and Devin

• Write documentation and help improve operational processes

• Collaborate across time zones in clear written and spoken English


Essential Skills & Experience (Mandatory)

• B2+ English (spoken and written)

• Strong foundational knowledge of Unix/Linux

• Basic to intermediate understanding of Ansible

• Knowledge of Git and version‑control workflows

• Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g., Bash, Python)

• Motivation to learn and grow in a DevOps environment

• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team


Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions

• Kubernetes or OpenShift

• AWS or other cloud platforms

• ELK Stack

• Dynatrace or other monitoring tools

• Windows server administration

• Banking, finance, or FX experience

• Experience with Kanban teams

• Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools
