We Are Hiring: Electrical Engineer (São Paulo, Brazil)


The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems for mission-critical infrastructure projects. This position supports multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle—from conceptual and detailed design to construction support and commissioning—ensuring technical excellence, compliance with Brazilian electrical regulations, and constructability. This role is based in São Paulo, Brazil.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Develop electrical infrastructure designs, including medium- and low-voltage systems, grounding, lighting, and auxiliary electrical systems.
  • Prepare preliminary studies, technical designs, and engineering documentation for electrical systems in compliance with Brazilian standards and best practices.
  • Develop electrical calculation memoranda, including load studies, short-circuit analysis, protection coordination, and lighting calculations.
  • Perform technical supervision, inspections, and/or commissioning activities as required.
  • Develop construction drawings and installation plans for electrical and low-voltage systems.
  • Generate technical reports and formal engineering deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Act as Project Engineer on assignments involving electrical design scope and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Support monitoring of project progress, engineering deliverables, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Active Brazilian professional license (CREA), in good standing, with legal authority to sign and stamp engineering documents (ART).
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and review electrical designs and schematics.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM tools (Revit or similar).
  • Willingness and ability to develop and apply electrical engineering tools such as ETAP and Dialux.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC); familiarity with Brazilian standards (ABNT / NBR) is a plus.
  • English level B1, with the ability to participate fluently in technical meetings, calls, and professional discussions.
  • Previous experience in Data Center or other mission-critical facilities is highly desirable.
