Azure / Windows Architect


Experience

  • 13+ years of overall IT experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
  • Azure Infrastructure
  • Azure Migrate
  • Azure Networking (Azure IaaS / PaaS)
  • Data Center, Cloud, Security, SIAM
  • Data & Storage areas (Azure Key Vault, Azure IAM)
  • Experience managing and technically guiding teams of 5+ Infra resources
  • Willing to provide 24x7 support and flexible to work in shifts

Primary Skills

  • Expertise in on-prem and public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure Migrate
  • Driving cloud solutioning and Azure activities for large, complex migrations
  • Ensure proposed solutions cover:
  • Azure strategy
  • Stakeholder management
  • Business, Application, and Infrastructure aspects
  • Commercial aspects (value for money, not commercial costing)
  • Experience working across industry domains such as:
  • Banking
  • Healthcare
  • Insurance
  • Understanding customer infrastructure landscape
  • Design and build Azure Landing Zone activities
  • Clear understanding of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment)
  • Provide Azure target architecture with BoM pricing and licensing details
  • Create Azure Target Solution Architecture diagrams (all Azure services), including HLD & LLD
  • Migrate on-prem workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate
  • Troubleshooting experience in Azure & Windows environments:
  • Processor
  • Networking
  • Clusters
  • IO
  • Memory
  • Define and realize end-to-end solution architecture addressing:
  • Business processes
  • Domain regulations
  • Quality attributes
  • Economy of solution
  • Strong knowledge of Windows File and Print Services
  • Troubleshooting skills with cluster-related issues
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Server consolidations
  • Windows Clustering
  • Strong administration knowledge of:
  • DNS
  • WINS
  • DHCP Servers
  • Experience in upgrading and migrating Windows Servers to later versions
  • Strong knowledge of server backup and restoration
  • Hands-on experience restoring OS and data files from backup
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing DFS
