Role Summary:

TLDR: game developer (frontend focussed) with experience building Telegram games, preferably with graphic design experience

We are seeking a visionary Gaming Lead to spearhead our Telegram and Discord game development initiatives. This is an opportunity to shape Kokomo Games, transforming creative ideas into stunningly engaging games. You'll play a pivotal role in building a top-tier team and ultimately ascend to Chief Gaming Officer. Experience with Telegram Games is strongly preferred, and an understanding of the recently released Discord SDK is a bonus.

An ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end development and a keen eye for crafting compelling game visuals (art and graphic design experience preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of sticky, high-quality 2D games for Telegram and Discord.
• Craft visually stunning and cohesive game art and assets.
• Collaborate closely with backend and Web3 developers to ensure seamless game functionality and integration.
• Drive the expansion of the game development team, mentoring and leading new talents to success.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance our gaming roadmap, ensuring alignment with industry trends and player feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in game design and development, with a strong portfolio of shipped games.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, WebGL; experience with Unity is a big plus.
• Creative and innovative thinker with a knack for visual design and aesthetics.
• Familiarity with or a strong interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain.
• Ideally, some experience working with or in high-profile gaming companies or experience as an independent game developer with successful titles.
