Roles and responsibilities

Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO control - Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Profit Analysis, Unpaid Costs, Month End Closing, Valuation and Settlement of Overheads). Experience in RAR, Group Reporting - FX, FI, AR, AP, GL, Asset Management and Banking Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements. Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements. Mapping customer requirements, processes and business objectives; developing the necessary product modifications to meet customer needs. Design, customize, configure and test FI/CO modules. Must have reporting experience and localization knowledge of the LATAM region. Identify gaps, problems and workarounds. Act as a liaison with the client to resolve problems: investigate, analyze and resolve software problems. Document functional projects, test cases and results. Proactively identify and propose improvements to the business process and/or system. Provide consultancy services on new implementations and existing support projects. Act as a liaison between the commercial functions and the technical team. Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required. Work autonomously and independently; can act as subject matter mentor for younger members

Desired skills and experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a full-cycle implementation, as well as in support projects. Minimum of 3 years' experience in SAP, supporting the general ledger plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Project System. Experience of FI integration points with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP and PM. Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously. Experience in a professional services or distribution company is an advantage. Understanding of accounting business processes Ability to understand business processes from the client's perspective Ability to work in a team environment, interacting effectively with others. Must be results-oriented, adaptable, flexible and resourceful.
