The Role

Manage a team of 10-12 SDR who are doing outbound cold telephone outreach to B2B customers in the USA.


Who we’re looking for

You have sales in your DNA and have the unique ability to train, motivate and lead a team of SDRs. You have a data based decision making framework to accompany your soft skills. As an SDR Manager you'll oversee each SDR’s pipeline of leads and provide strategic direction for each SDR’s focused outreach. You’ll build the SDR team's strategy and goals as well as help to create metrics to measure the performance of each individual and of the SDR team as whole.


Most importantly, you have a strong desire to contribute to our mission and help Capital Generations.


Selected Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 10-12 Sales Development Representatives to achieve and exceed performance targets of meetings arranged each month.
  • The SDRs are doing OUTBOUND cold telephone outreach to B2B customers, arranging meetings for account executives who are selling software products or services.
  • Conducting regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to support the professional growth and development of SDR team members.
  • Ownership of making sure team meets its goals in terms of meetings booked.
  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize the SDR team's productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in prospecting, and booking demos.
  • Define and refine sales processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistent and scalable execution across the SDR team.
  • Refining and evolving a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.


Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Fluent English
  • A proven track record of success in managing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR/Presales), preferably doing OUTBOUND telephone prospection at the B2B level.
  • Great ability to diagnose why SDRs are under performing using both quantitative and qualitative measures
  • Great ability to coach and mentor SDRs on how to book more meetings.
  • Experience in coaching SDRs and getting teams to perform and meet goals.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, with demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and metrics, lead generation techniques, and CRM systems
  • Great technology skills with the ability to create reports in CRM and in excel
  • The ability to generate and interpret data and reports.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving performance, fostering a culture of accountability, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • High level of resilience, adaptability, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment.
